Mobility Aid Services (Scotland) do not supply any unofficial imports. All our products are sourced brand new direct from the official UK distributors of leading manufacturers only.
All power products have their own unique identification numbers registered by the UK distributor and ourselves to enable a specific unit to be tracked right through the process to the individual customer to ensure full warranty and spares provision.
All our products come with a full 12 month guarantee against faulty manufacture or materials backed by the manufacturers themselves. Incontinence products are the only category of goods which are not covered due to Hygiene Law.
A direct line is dedicated to after sales advice and service needs. The number can be found on your delivery documentation. The line is manned during normal office hours from 9.30 - 4.30 Monday to Friday.
In the unlikely event that you have a problem with your scooter or powerchair that requires one of our mobile service teams to come out to you, they will always endeavor to effect adjustments or repairs on the initial call out but if this is not possible, should we deem fit, a loan scooter may be offered in certain circumstances, whilst your own vehicle is in our workshop.
Please note the warranty does not cover consumables such as tyres and bulbs or maintenance requirements caused by undue care or accidental damage such as flat batteries or punctures. A call out requested or diagnosed as a result of the above will attract a minimum call out fee of £50 and may be subject to additional parts and labour charges.
Delivery on orders over £50 is free within the UK mainland. On orders under £50, delivery is £3.95 to the UK mainland. For delivery outside the UK please telephone one of our advisors on 0800 0842336 for a quotation.
Delivery could be well within our general quotation of 14 days from confirmed order. Any specific requests should be made at the time of ordering and we will always endeavor to comply if possible.
When your order is ready for dispatch we will telephone you to discuss and confirm delivery details with you.
Scooters and Powerchairs are delivered on our own vans by Mobility Aid Services (Scotland) staff and come fully assembled and tested. Our staff will be pleased to give you a full demonstration on how to use and drive the product. In addition we will advise on storage and battery charging before handling over your new, ready to ride vehicle.
BEWARE: some firms simply dispatch large and heavy scooters with independent couriers. These require complicated assembly and a two man team just to uncrate them. There is no guarantee that they will work or that they are not damaged!
Most of our customers don't have to pay VAT so we display our prices excluding VAT, where the exemption allows. Prices for products that are not eligible for VAT relief are displayed inclusive of VAT.

To claim VAT Relief on your purchases you just need to complete this simple online form stating the product is for your "domestic and personal use." The form can be lodged with us electronically, or printed out, signed and posted to us.
For Scooters, Electric Wheelchairs and other items delivered on our own vans we will handle all the paperwork for you on delivery. No proof of your disability is required to be shown at any time, other than your personal declaration on the form provided.
VAT Exemption Form
Providing goods have not been dispatched, we would normally refund a deposit in the case of a cancellation of a regular advertised item. Special orders of non-advertised items must be paid for in full and will not be subject to cancellation.
In the unlikely event that you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us in unused condition within 10 days and receive a full refund. If you require us to collect, this can be arranged at our convenience and will be charged at a cost.

Goods delivered by our staff only require a 10% deposit to guarantee the order and delivery and the balance can be paid by any of the approved methods on delivery.
Goods to be dispatched by courier/post must be paid in full prior to despatch.
